The Imaging Business Unit focuses on visual technology, providing interchangeable-lens and compact digital cameras, lenses, compact photo printers, network cameras, video management and content analytics software, digital camcorders, digital cinema cameras, broadcast equipment, and multimedia projectors. Canon's Medical System Business Unit delivers advanced diagnostic and imaging solutions for healthcare, such as computed tomography (CT), diagnostic ultrasound, X-ray, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems, alongside clinical chemistry analyzers, digital radiography systems, and ophthalmic equipment. The Industrial and Others Business Unit addresses specialized manufacturing needs with products like semiconductor and flat panel display lithography equipment, vacuum thin-film deposition equipment, organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display manufacturing tools, die bonders, handy terminals, and document scanners. Beyond hardware, Canon also provides essential maintenance services and supplies consumables such as replacement drums, parts, toners, and paper. Operating under the globally recognized Canon brand, its products are distributed worldwide through a network of subsidiaries and independent distributors, reaching dealers, retail outlets, and directly serving end-users. Established in 1933, the company maintains its corporate headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
